About Us

Here at Dog Town & Kitty City, our #1 Goal is health and safety first. To ensure we provide this to every pet and owner we have a vaccination policy and cleaning protocol. We take the necessary steps to ensure all our staff is properly educated in dog handling and our cleaning standards. This allows us to provide you and your pet with a healthy, safe, and clean environment. Everything in our facility is cleaned with hospital-grade cleaning supplies to keep those pesky germs away from your pet. 

After opening our facility the owner, Paula Vanderkarr consulted with four different veterinarians to create our vaccination policy. To ensure the health and safety of your pet and the other pets at our facility we ask that all pets must be fully vaccinated for both cats and dogs upon entering.

We are a 6,300 sq ft facility, with three indoor play yards and three outdoor play yards for dogs. We use group-oriented play during daycare. This means we have groups of dogs playing together for most of the day. We also have a fantastic cat room with a floor-to-ceiling cat tree and many wall-climbing cubbies as well. Our facility also provides all pets with a makeup air unit with 8 ultraviolet lights, this reduces the risk of any airborne illnesses and provides clean air for your pet to play in. Our staff members are always on alert for any signs of illness from any animal in our facility. To ensure any sick animal will not contaminate any other pet we have a quarantine room.
